Hi there.

I just need some advice.

If someone did a eft from capitec to FNB at 16:30 on Monday when will the money reflect in the FNB bank?

Probably after 12 midday in my experience, at latest midnight.

You could have asked them to do an instant ETF, that costs R10 with Capitec (not R40 as with FNB), and told them to rather deduct R10 from the transfered amount, that's what I would have done if I needed the money to show quick.

Yeah, even without the extra R10 (which is quite cheap IMO) capitec to FNB usually takes less than 24 hours, usually appears same day. (I pay maintenance to the peanut's mother monthly capitec -> fnb)

Yes i should have. I didn't know about it, until I read about the instant EFT yesterday.

Now I know for the near future :) thank you for the advice. I hope it clears by midday today *holding thumbs*

thanks :-)

Hey Pinball,
So you don't use the instant EFT?

And your baby' Mama receives the money in less than 24 hours?

thanks for that ;) hoping it clears by this afternoon.

Tuesday evening after 12. You should have received it sometime during the course of the early hours of this morning.

Hi Visser,

Alryt thank you :)

I hope so. I keep checking on my phone - the FNB app. But perhaps I should go to the ATM later to check if it is in.

I also realized that my SMS''s from FNB come through so late.

Thanks I'm *Holding thumbs*

Ow ya... It's in it's in ;)

Thank you everyone. so it takes like less than 2 days.

I'm so happy :)

All your advice helped me so much for the long run

Hi, I made a eft 16h30 Saterday, from FNB to Capitec and Monday was holiday, when will they receive funds?

Probably this afternoon or else after midnight (tomorrow morning), a Capitec to Standard Bank EFT did on Saturday is not reflecting yet, this long weekend seemingly affected EFTs a lot, transactions involving Capitec usually show faster.
