EGMR is having another competition at EGMR! This time the item is quite niche and admittedly will only interest the discerning keyboard enthusiasts out there. The keycaps are basically made for the Cooler Master Novatouch, but since they are Cherry MX Keycaps, they are compatible with most mechanical keyboards, barring those who use khail or Logitech's own switches.
The keys are definitely lookers, and adds some welcomed colour to the otherwise pedestrian looking Novatouch. So, if you're someone who spent their hard earned cash on the amazing Novatouch and you want something to liven it up, hit us with a comment/question in the article.
I've spent a bit of time meticulously removing the old keycaps from my own Novatouch and adding these ones. I personally find that the keyboard looks amazing as it was(minimalism FTW) but this spruces it up really well while keeping the same minimalist tone.
It's not flashy purple; just a splash on the one side.
Besides that, the keycaps themselves feel great and are "rougher" than their stock counterparts, something you might appreciate for your fingertips. The only drawback is the lettering, which although is laser etched, is just not as crisp or uniform and does suffer in low light settings. Besides that small issue, they are a great set for someone wanting to replace their Novatouch keycaps, or just try some new keycaps on another tenkeyless board, maybe from steelseries or a CM quickfire.
