Ejecting / loading discs in XP

In some XP machines you can eject and load discs from My Computer while in most others you can only eject discs. How do you enable the load function?

i think it depends on the drive... there isnt a setting that i'm aware of

Nero Showtime and Power Dvd load the disc when you click on the eject button a second time, but this has no effect when doing this through My Computer

I was looking for something more along the lines of a registry fix.

Just reach down and press the button. You were there only a short while ago to put the disc into the drive.
