Ekuhuleni - Time to fix leaking meter

Hi,

I came home Thursday evening to find my water meter leaking on the municipality's side. I called the call centre and opened a ticket, and my reference number was sms'ed to me.

It's not a heavy leak, but it's a constant small flow of water coming out if the cover.

Does anybody know how long it takes Edenvale municipality to come out and fix?

Same thing happened to me while I was overseas, in March this year...
The meter should have been replaced years ago... this is why this is happening.

Still waiting for the municipality to come fix the leak. I phoned them today to follow and they said there's a minimum of 5 days before they can come out. It actually makes me sad thinking how much water is running into the street and being wasted.
