Coming up this Monday.. Weird day for such a big game, but anyhow

I'm hoping Real win both games, not expecting any more 3-0, 4-0's with Mourinho there, both teams feel pretty level this year, Real maybe just a bit better

Yeah I also think Real will take it.

What needs to remembered is that la liga is decided on head to head and not goal difference if both teams are equal on points. With the league so tight between Real and Barca, it may well come down to goal difference.

Barca will be desperate for a win but Mourinho know's how to play games like these.

I say 1-0 to Real.

Whatever dude. The real question is whether you would choose Vela or Bendtner to start a game even though Chamakh and Van Persie are fit. Please focus on the real issues instead of trying to turn our heads with your Spanish voodoo.

I think it'll be boring ass match may just see Jose resort back to their usual defend and counter attack strategy

I dunno mate, he's got more fire power at his disposal at Real than he did at Inter. Remember, he did beat Barca 3-1 at the Guiseppe Meazza, so if this is Real at home he could go for the jugular.

It'll be interesting to see if Barca can break Mourinho's incredible home record, though I think Mondays game is at the nou camp (soon to be known as camp vela, after they sign him in 2012 and he goes on to become a demigod in catalunya)

You obviously got that from Vela's twitter account, we all know he can tweet from the future. As far as Mourinho's home record is concerned... I dunno. He's really good at keeping it unbeaten hey.

Xabi to score from the half way line

haha :)

Barcelona might just have the fire power to break that record though, if Messi and Villa are in the mood it'll happen, ofcourse they're neither Carlos Vela nor Gareth Bale, but they're pretty good

If both of them were playimg, you'd need a backline composed entirely of Eboues to stop them.

Though Villa and Messi can be kept quiet if you know how. It's just that they have been on song in the last few weeks so it makes it that much more difficult.

Every goal helps against Barca I guess. Feeling nostalgic? :D

Four former Liverpool players will be involved. Dudek, Arbeloa, Alonso and Masch.

Along with Ronaldo, Carvalho, Diarra......

EDIT: I noticed Panathinaikos also has 4 former Liverpool players Luis Garcia, Cisse, Plessis and Leto. Along with former Prem players Boumsong and Gilberto Silva. Not quite the same quality lol.

Wow... imagine a midfield pairing of Alonso and Mascherano... that would be killer.

Well, we'll see. Messi has never scored against a Mourinho-led team, so maybe he's due one. RM might resort to a parked bus formation, but that counter-attack is gonna be potent. Whereas last year Jose had only Milito playing upfront, now it'll be Higuain, Maria, Ozil and Ronaldo. Farking quick.

Not really. I'm sure if they played together they wouldn't win anything :D

*sigh*

How I miss those long range pinpoint passes. Now we have Poulsen and Lucas who couldn't hit a barn door from 10 yards away

1. That just leaves them open on the counter.

2. :D

I dunno man, last year both Eto'o and Pandev helped out with the defence in the Barca game (Pandev playing almost as an auxiliary right wingback). Somehow I don't see any sign of Oezil, Higuain, Di MAria or (and in particular) Ronaldo doing any defensive. At all. However, I could be wrong...

Difference previously is Barcelona only had Messi to contain, this time around they have to contain both Messi and Villa - Villa is one to never shy away from ANY match whereas Messi does go mia in some matches when the defence is too strong.

At Inter Jose had Lucio and Walter Samuel which made up a solid defence, this time round it'll be Ricardo Carvalho and Pepe who has to take on Villa and Messi, these two did keep Villa quiet during the International match where Portugal gave Spain a good hiding
