Elardus Park 2 Exchange problems

I spoke with a thousand Telkom techie's today and one of them told me that there was a problem at the Elardus Park 2 Exchange at the moment. She wasn't able to provide me with any other details.

Is anyone in Elardus Park experiencing connectivity or speed issues?

I thought I was going mad with it maybe only being me with slow speeds ....

Me too. Well, technically not slow speeds, but what happens is that I get regular intermittent timeouts. Recently upgraded my line to 4096kbps, saw that SNR was between 8-11, phoned a Cybersmart techie who told me "no sir, it does not need to be higher than 6" which is poop, of course. Telkom techie recommended something around 15. Some other thread on SNR and Attenuation recommended between 10-15 for a 4096kbps connection.

Now I'm trying to get some incredibly simple to retrieve, though seemingly highly classified info from Telkom. I want to know where my DSLAM is situated, where the other DSLAM's in the area are situated and what route my line physically takes from the DSLAM to my home.
