Eldoraigne exchange WTF!!

Anyone knows what is happening with Eldoraigne exchange!!

Apparantly there is a bulk fault but not even Telkom can give a straight answer. Please help as we are now 2 weeks without any telephone and ADSL services.

In Eldoraigne too cable theft been without a phone line and adsl for over a month and still nothing. Call center says its been escalated blah blah pathetic

I know MWEB also said that there is a Network Outage on the Network Status and that Telkom is working on the issue.

Cables stolen again last week thurs around 1am. Looks like centurion is under siege by copper thieves

A little birdie told me Eldoraigne is getting their MSAN's put in/activated soon.

Sorry for bumping an old thread, but does anyone have an idea whether this is still ongoing?

I connect to the 012 658 exchange (Eldoraigne)

My line has had the same symptoms over the last months.

Download speed is what it is suppose to be at for a 2mbps line and ping is 55-65ms during day.

At night though, latency goes through the roof, sitting between 550ms and 700ms.

similar issues again with latency on ping.

Currently my normal telephone is not working but ADSL is working . WTF!! waiting now almost 1 week to fix normal phone line.
