Election website still locked

Take an absolute retard to make an IE only website.

Have any technical reasons been given for the exclusion?

The strange part is if you spoof your FireFox User Agent the website renders correctly in FireFox, As seen here.

Ps. *Grin* Just reset your user agent back to FireFox before you try to post a new message.

Ah. I see they have updated their message :

"The website is under construction in order to rectify this.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause."

How and where do I register. the website seems to only show 2006 municipal stuff.

Well if something does not work in the other browsers or has not been tested I would not want my customers to come to a website that looks broken.
Business sense, I would rather get a busy tone than no one answering the phone.

So I guess guys with low cost PC's running Ubuntu and non MS browsers will be greeted with that message. Great stuff! *sarcasm*

There is no reason to not to test in other browsers. If you write your html properly, it's not going to be any different in any case.

I love my country..we got such jokes and jokers..

this is got to be one of the craziest things I have ever read..forget the shower AIDS displacement theory.

LMAO ! Bwahahahaha :D

Our server detected that you are using a browser or operating system (e.g. Netscape, Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome etc.) which is currently incompatible with our website. The current website is only compatible with Microsoft Internet Explorer V4 (and upward) on the Windows operating system.

The website is under construction in order to rectify this.

Seems they are busy "fixing it".... :D
Takes like 2 seconds to take out the script that checks it.

A further problem elections.org.za (many other sites also) has, is that it doesn't work without entering the www. in the domain name - I mean really, it's the 21st century...get your sites up to date, bloody useless pathetic developers / decision makers / server admins.

IEC Site Coders

Take an absolute retard to make an IE only website.

Yup when you have coders putting in tags like
Code:
<\table>
thinking it's going to work and the only browser that is forgiving is IE makes your site only IE compatible.

That is not a problem.
