Electric fence issues

Hi so I recently erected an electric fence for my parents and I tried to program everything by the book which it accepts and all that but when the gate opens it does not show that the gate has been opened therefore a certain fate open function does not work. The energizer is from Nemtek and it is a Druid15 energizer. But it also seems that other functions do not want to work as I test the fence disruption function and that does not work either so I am at a loss. Any help is welcome.
