Electric Supercharges?

15-25HP gains ? thats 11-18kw's which is nothing much ( especially on a NA car).
Whats the cost of this ?

Remember calling this a 'supercharger' is complete BS ! its just another intake.
All chargers relate to FI, and this is not FI.

Yeah, they say that their device uses 2.2 amps on 12volts, thats about 26 watts. A hairdryer is at least ten times more powerfull than that. A real super charger can easily use around 16kw of power from the motor (iirc), that's 16000 watts so 26 watts wont do anything. Must be a scam.

I think it was $40 - $100 on ebay...

Was considering getting one while I wait patiently for the never arriving FIPK.

they are actually bilge pumps.

anyway, as the other guys have said, these little electric motors just cant move enough air.
at low revs you may be able to notice a difference (which is also when you dont really need extra power), yet as high revs they will restrict the airflow, because the engine will be sucking in much much more air that the electric motor can force through.

4th question down

I never thought of that - and considering I'm between 7000 - 9000 ... it'd be an issue.

Ever wondered why Merc and Mini dropped the Superchargers in their cars?
Coz Tubos are better.:)
