Electrician Somerset West

Hi Forumites

Can anyone PLEASE recommend me an electrician in the Somerset West area please.

Dealt with a few and the one is worse than the other.

I have a plug circuit that is tripping the Earth Leakage and I can't seem to find any appliances that are plugged in.

If I recall it happened before and the electrician simply moved the whole line onto another breaker and everything worked fine until last night.

Need to have it checked out, please let me know if you know of someone reliable.

Not in your area, so no recommendation to offer, but do you have a dishwasher? Plug sockets for these are often in out of the way places - ours is inside a cupboard We had a similar issue to yours and eventually, after unplugging everything else in the house, we realised that plug was the culprit. The electrician checked that the wall plug was not faulty and told us that DWs draw a lot of current, and the plugs can get hot and damp, causing the EL to trip. It happens once or twice a year, but now we are wise to the issue. We pull out the plug, dry the pins and leave it to air for a while.
