So my moms contract was up for renewal and she gets a call from people claiming to be telkom mobile and decides to upgrade as she gets a Samsung and 1gb as well as 100 minutes for R179 per month.
Next thing she gets debited with an extra R379 for about 6 months and these okes register her for "services" that she know nothing of like somu sim and hotspotter vpn and sms squad etc....
Do a search on hello peter and you will see that these guys are stealing millions.

It is very difficult to get you money back but after begging and pleading i managed to get back some of the cash which is better than nothing. The issue is also that VAS Networks and Elite mobile are the same company but pretend to be different entities when committing this fraud.
In order to get your money back you will have to first put a stop to the debit orders for which FNB will charge you R16 per service if done telephonically or R5 if done online or through smart phone app.
Next step is to collect your bank statements as proof and reference numbers as elite mobile/ vas networks will require this.
Call them on 0861 103 195 or 0861 11 11 485 and then plead and beg and after one call each week after for the next four weeks they will partially return some of the money they stole.
Does anyone know who they can be reported to so that this can stop as it is blatant fraud?
Kind Regards
