I ordered an upgrade through them on the 10th May, it is now the 22nd may and I have just been told it will take another week, that's what they told me the last 2 times I phoned.

That will be 3 weeks I will be waiting and guess what, I bet you next week when I phone them again they will just say the same thing again, "next week"

If this is the type of customer service that vodacom provides their customers through their agency's or service providers, well I am most certainly going to take my business elsewhere.

I am frikkin pi$$ed off

I'm not originally with them, I just thought it would be more convenient to do it online instead of trekking all the way into town, boy was I wrong, oh well, lesson learned.

call 082 1959 to upgrade your phone - this is dealing directly with vodacom...

you should get your phone within 48hrs if there is stock available....

I do not know the company, so this is not directed at them specifically.

I just try and avoid people with "Elite", "Simply the Best", any large X etc in their names...

Its like people calling their Rottweiler "tiny".

Hi Viper357 - Appologies for the delay on your phone. I have personally looked into this and beleive that our stock was delayed from the Vodacom Warehouse on your particluar phone. Under normal circumstances you would have recveived your phone in 3 days. I have popped you a private message as well.

3weeks for delay for phone.. Wow at least if the client went for the upgrade. Give him a months free subsciption. Did they process your Upgrade ??

Hey guys, it was a nokia 6300, not the best phone but it had all the functionality that I wanted plus good battery life.

Anyway, after my complaint on hellopeter.com, vodacom stepped in and managed to sort my problem out the very next day.
