Saw one at voltex yesterday, 12 vdc trolley with a LI battery inside, only 1000 watts, but R14000. The body is big, and it is heavy.
Anyone use one.

I'm assuming you're talking about this one? https://www.voltex.co.za/product/kapa-energy-inverter-with-lithium-battery-1000w-li-1000/

I can't find a datasheet but it looks like it's based on the same design as the Mecer SOL-I-BB-M1 / SOL-I-BB-M1L

There's threads on those products here. The SOL-I-BB-M1L is a bit cheaper but out of stock everywhere afaik.

It's expensive given you know nothing about the battery other than that it's lithium. This one seems to be rated 5 years and 1500 cycles which is not great. A bit better than the EcoFlow type products though.

But you can't do a lot better < R20k if you want 1 kWh lithium right now.

One thing to double check is the ac charge rate because the lead acid version of this is rated 10 A i.e. ~ 120 W, which is very slow, a problem with 4-hour sessions. (https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0538/4470/5457/files/KAPA_Energie_1000.pdf)
