Ellies AV Transmitter

I bought the Ellies Wireless Audio/Video Sender. I want to use the transmitter unit to sent audio/video from my computer in one room to my TV in the living room.

I also want to control the DStv decoder in the living room but that is where the problem comes in: the transmitter (at the computer) is not able to transmit IR (remote) signals to the receiver unit (living room).

Is there a way that I can make the setup work?

There are magic black boxes called remote extenders.

(They are also used in PVR setups (two TVs in different locations, two remotes and one PVR machine. Therefore wireless transmission is required for one)

Oh, I see, perhaps the remote blaster WIZARD, as spec-ed on the website link. That works with Dstv (PVR) setups.
