Ellies inverter repairs

Got an Ellies FBI1000W inverter that turns off after a minute or two of turning on. Anybody know where to take this to get checked out (preferably somewhere in CPT)?

What are the symptoms?

To be honest, that unit is low quality to begin with, so unless it is really cheap to repair I would trash it.

Or give it to me for components :p
