You're not going to believe this, but if I am in our main bedroom and have my S4 screen on, then the remote blaster bedroom unit goes crazy (red LED flashes like crazy) and we can't operate the PVR in the lounge. As soon as I turn the phone's screen off by locking the phone then the remote blaster settles down and I can fully control the pvr in the lounge.

Can anyone try and explain how this is possible and what is going on???

The S4 has an infrared transmitter, like old-skool phones used to have back in the day, it can be used as a remote. Maybe you have an app running that's sending out some signals?

Made sure to block the ir transmitter on the phone as I also thought that was the cause. It's screen on related as even in flight mode the phone screen makes the blaster go mental

I have the same problem, except it happens even when the screen is off. I have to turn the phone on its face to stop it interfering.
