Not sure if this is the right section but here goes...
My old remote was stolen (they left the tv but took the remote
) so I got the Ellies Slimline 2 universal remote. I'm using it with a Samsung Slimfit TV (CRT) and all's well except for one annoying thing: the sleep function doesn't work. When I push the sleep button, what should happen is that a menu appears where you can select the length of time until the sleep function kicks in. When I push the button, the LED on the TV flashes as it should but nothing happens. Everything else does work so it's really strange to me that this one thing doesn't. Wondering if anyone knows of a trick here as Ellies' email support is like drawing blood from a stone.
