Email dissapear on N8

Recently activated email on this phone. I receive email, but as soon as i click on it, it vanishes. Only setup to receive headers. This normal?

No it is not normal. You running Nokia Anna or Belle? What email service are you using? Did you install the Microsoft Apps?

My non-technical understanding. If you have set up an "other" email address and you also receive those emails on your PC on Outlook, for instance, then once it is retrieved on their it will no longer appear on your phone as it is removed from the mail server. Were you simultaneously retrieving those said emails on another device?

I set my email up on N8 aswell, and they dissapear once read, any advice????????

Check your pc e mail settings. In outlook express for example, try changing a setting to 'leave a copy on server' in mail accounts. Cannot be more specific as I'm not at a pc now
