I'm hosting a small website for a conference on Afrihost. This conference has its own domain. I have set up a bunch of email forwarders on this domain, as some of the organisers/speakers do not want a separate email account to check. However, this is now causing problems.
Some of the receiving email servers are rejecting some of the forwarded email addresses due to the SPF record from the sender not stating authority for Afrihost's email server. A legitimate thing to combat spam.
Is there a way to enable SRS to indicate that the email was forwarded? I cannot find anything in the cPanel. I have emailed Afrihost support, and the agent's suggestion was to ask the sender's organisation to add the Afrihost server to the SPF record... (as if I can do that for all companies over the world...)
If no SRS, is there any other way to explicitly change the mail envelope?
Thanks!
