Email issues

Am I the only one with errors?

My web works perfectly .... my email constantly gives SMTP error. After like 4 or 5 'send & receieve' it goes through

Task 'pop3.vodamail.co.za - Sending' reported error (0x8004210B) : 'The operation timed out waiting for a response from the sending (SMTP) server. If you continue to receive this message, contact your server administrator or Internet service provider (ISP).'
 
Task 'pop3.vodamail.co.za - Receiving' reported error (0x800CCC0F) : 'The connection to the server was interrupted. If this problem continues, contact your server administrator or Internet service provider (ISP).'

Oh - that comes from time to time too
 
It seems your smtp server is set to pop3.vodamail.co.za, shouldn't it be smtp.vodamail.co.za?

Also, dependant on your connection and if you may be downloading in the background, it could interrupt the connection to mail, or just plainly voda is having mail issues today?
 
I dunno ... but it works after a few tries :/
 
Set the smtp address correctly as I said, do you get 3G speeds or lower? I've found checking all 4 my mail accounts on Virgin Edge takes about 3 minutes, due to lack of throughput ;)
