Hi Guys,

I am a entrepreneur with multiple small online business'es running at the same time. Therefore I have a couple email addresses for each business.

Are there any email management systems that you guys would recommend that could incorporate all of the email addresses in one system/platform.

What I am currently using for one business is FireFox Thunderbird. Working "ok" but it would be great if I didn't have to jump between programs to manager all the inbox's of each business.

On a side note I am not averse to paying for a good program but I am a small business so any free software that you could recommend would be great.

Thanks in advance. I appreciate any assistance you guys can offer and what insights you can offer in terms of what you might of implemented from in your own businesses.

In the mean time I will continue my search on the web

I too have various emails but I just pump them all in Gmail.

You can use Thunderbird as well and just rather choose one inbox for all accounts rather than seperate inboxes. Outlook does this as well.

When replying, it will automatically choose the right email address to send from. When creating new email, you must just select the correct email address to send from. Habing unique signatures assist in you remembering to choose right mailbox.

Are you keeping multiple windows open for each email account?

With Thunderbird you can run all emails in a single window and all the different email accounts would be listed on the left.

Alternatively, you could consider using a webmail alternative (like nic777 mentioned) by either using something like GMail or a self-hosted option.

Webmail is great is you're working from multiple systems, but if you use just 1 desktop/laptop for email, then Thunderbird is perfect for the job.

Outlook does it. No need for anything extra. At one stage I had six different accounts, all managed from a single Outlook. Now it's down to four accounts.

I have also thunder bird installed. But there are two things, first my id got banned if I send more than 100 mails at a time and second those mails don't get in Inbox . They are received in Spam box of that designated email addressee.

Don't mass-mail using your standard email host (especially if it is for marketing).

Use a service like: http://mailchimp.com (or alternatives).

This will solve the banning issue and the spambox issue.

(Off-topic: interesting to see a New Yorker on this forum, welcome to MyBB!)

I didn't know Thunderbird could do that. Thank! :)

Jip I had the exact same issue and a friend showed me how to use Thunderbird that way.

Of course Outlook will always be the best for this, but Thunderbird is pretty sweet for something that is free.

Doesn't live.com and Outlook in general cost monies?

That's why I don't use it for instance.

Thunderbird does what I want for free

I have the best of both worlds in one. Synced on PC with Windows Live mail and on web outlook.com as well as synced on phone at the same time. You do not always have a PC with you and a phone is not the best way to send/receive files or write long love letters.
