Email (Outlook) signature question

Hi all. I want to add a signature to all my outgoing emails. The problem i have is not how to add the signature, but to add pictures (eg. a telephone icon next no the phone number) without it showing up as attachements in the mail im sending.
Everytime i send a message with my signature all the pictures appears as attachments. I know it can be done, because i receive it all the time.
Please advise

I think it has something to do with setting your default e-mail format to HTML.
 
use the HTML editor for the signature. In there you just paste the picture into the email.
 
hmmm... I know what you mean though. cos I see some people using images in their sig... and others it all comes as attachments. I'm interested to find out. cos I want to do that also with our company e-mails.

What about having the images stored on line somewhere... and using HTML code to refer to the online image instead of the attached image?
 
Create your signature in word, and save it in the rtf format. Then go to Tools -> Options. Click on the Mail Format tab. Click on Signatures. Click New, and select "use this file as template". Select the rtf file you created.

Alternatively, you can copy and paste the contents of the signature you created, when you start with a empty signature and then select "Edit" and "Advanced Edit ...". Paste the signature in there.

Im using Office 07. If i create it in word i do not have an option to save it in rtf format

If i copy and paste it in my signatures the pictures doesnt get added - only the information. If i paste the pictures in the signature manually it is very big pictures and i cant resize or move it.

Sorry. Using Office '03. What options do you have in Outlook 2007 for the signature? If you construct the signature completely via Advanced Edit, does it work then?
 
So far i managed to insert only a buss card as a signature without it appearing as an attachment. I inserted the buss card through the add signature box. So when i compose a new message the card appears as an attachement but i just delete it and the buss card stays in the message.

Sorry, that was in Office 2003, I had a quick look and for Outlook 2007 and now see you problem. The best would be to maybe ask on the office website somewhere...
