I've tried a few (Excel, Power Point & Publisher) and it doesn't come out like I would like it to...
I am trying to create a "marketing catalog" email to send out...
If anyone has received one such from Kalahari - that is exactly the end result I would desire..
When you open the mail, it looks like you are looking at a page in their website and does also have click-able links to various pages on their site..Any pointers, suggestions or templates one can try?

Mailchimp.com

DO NOT email out MS Pubisher documents - you will annoy far more (everyone) people than you will attract (zero).

But isn't Mailchimp a mass mailing service? I'm more wanting to know how to create such an email?

They have the tools to do that too.

If you want something on your side, try SeaMonkey but be warned - this type of thing is not for the feint-hearted.

Thanks...will investigate both....I love being adventurous and at 57, am not the "average Joe", have started a few websites, sinking my teeth into Linux, PHP, have attempted a "MYBB" like forum - but Aah, certain "stuff" still beyond my knowledge. No Telkom ADSL in the area doesn't help, so "googling" is also tortuous to some extent!

Good luck. Sea Monkey is the continuation of the old Netscape Communicator 4 and one of the few email clients that has a wysiwyg HTML design front-end. http://www.seamonkey-project.org/

Mailchimp has HTML templates and takes care of the mailing aspect as well. Free for up to 10 000 recipients.

I have created an online brochure application that generates PDF product brochures that you can email to prospective clients.

If anyone is interested in trying out the product at no charge please PM me.

Also, if you want to see a PDF Sample, PM me your email address.
