Here is a sample of just one the 273 similar spam emails I have received since the 13th of May 2016.
While spam doesn't bother me, we all get spam, it has affected my email sending ability from my PC as MWeb keeps blocking my account for abusive behaviour. For the last week or more I have phoned them to unlock the account, changed the passwords twice and received a few emails from their Abuse Team who state this situation will continue for about 2 weeks or more because according to them my password was compromised?
My ADSL Service Provider is currently WebAfrica and through them I retrieve and send email from my PC from MWeb.
I can login online to MWeb and send email from there but on my PC I can only receive emails but sending works for a bit after I phone in until it gets blocked again by the MWeb servers.
I have my doubts that my password was compromised?

Thank you for contacting us.
Based on the error you have forwarded, your username and password has been compromised. A spammer is using your username and password to send spam messages from your account and e-mail address.
This information will also allow unauthorised access to your MWEB MyAccount details and settings therefore swift action is strongly recommended.
Please change your password immediately by logging on to http://www.mweb.co.za and going to My Account.
Unfortunately the delivery failures will not necessarily stop immediately after the password change. It could up to two weeks or even longer for the attack to run its course.
I have my doubts that my password was compromised?
