I would also like to know. A good email to fax system, not fax to email. Fax to email is taken care of by Telkom faxanswer for us, its not free, about 20 bucks a month or something like that but at least clients are not being whacked for faxing some expensive tel number.

A good email to fax system was being offered by some of the better ISP's a while ago, dont know who does it now and what they charge. Would like to know .

Actually there are a few "service providers" offering email to fax services in addition to the free fax2mail services.

Ok, let's rephrase my question: do you want software to do it yourself or use a service provider. If the prior: Software such as RelayFax (available from alt-n (www.relayfax.com) or eFax will meet all your needs). There are also a few open source solutions available (including one that hooks onto Asterisk called asterfax (http://sourceforge.net/projects/asterfax/))

If it's the latter you're after: www.faxwhiz.com, www.digifax.co.za and more are there to serve

Who has a pop in PMB, all seems to treat PMB as a long distance call. I need a local rate for PMB.

I have been using a Free Fax to email software company called Sonic Fax. They also have software that allows you to print to Fax more commonly known as Email to Fax but instead the software allows you fax any document that you can print, you install a print driver that allows you to insert a fax number when you select the Fax printer it is very handy but unfortunately not free to Telkom numbers.
