I set up my bosses Outlook to forward all his emails to his phone, and it's been working fine for the past two months, but today his emails aren't showing up in his Outlook Inbox anymore (but they are being forwarded to his cellphone) So the email is just going straight to Sent Items.
Basically:
1. Email received
2. Stays in the Inbox for about 1 second and then disappears
3. Cellphone beeps and the email was forwarded to Phone Inbox and is now in the Outlook Sent Items folder but not in the Inbox (used to be in Inbox, Sent Items as FWD and on the phone)

Oh, and switching off the rule I created to forward messages solves the problem. But he'd like to get the messages on his phone and computer.

Any suggestions?

What does the rule say exactly? (I don't use Outlook btw, so don't know the options available)

The behaviour is indeed strange. Forwarding, shouldn't make the massage move from the inbox.
Is there maybe another rule that might influence this one?

Any reason youre using this method to download messages to both devices?
Why not set up the account on each device, and then on each device opt to "leave message on server for X days"
That way, they don't interfere with eachother, and you won't run into little issues like this one :)

You may want to change from "forward" to "redirect".

I would like to keep the message on the computer and phone. If i redirect won't it just appear on the phone?

Seemed like the most logical way to do it at the time. The phone has Blackberry Connect and it was just a mission to add the account to the phone, Vodacom was no help and MWEB Business didn't have a cooking clue what was going on so I just started forwarding the mail to the default [email protected] (or something to that effect) and it worked perfectly up til now
