Embarassing or stupid things you've done

Post some of the embarrassing or stupid things that you have done while playing WoW.

A couple of mine:
Had a couple of close calls while exploring. In Feralas I got one-shotted by some skull elite just as I exited the water. In Silvermoon City I had to run into the city to get the explore part and got PvP tagged while there was a couple of DK's in the area. Luckily they didn't spot me.

I also got stomped by a Fel Reaver in Hellfire Peninsula. When the ground starts shaking while you are in a fight, just run. Don't try to look at what is making the ground shake.

Jumping off the elevator in southern Barrens. I knew it will kill me, but I just had to try. Same with jumping off Teldrassil.

Mounting up and jump down a cliff just to realize your on your ground mount
Forgetting to dismiss your pet while your group is trying to skip content, happened a few times in UBRS just for the pet to drag the full room to you anyway.
Targeting a mob on the side walkways in Gnomeregon and manage to pull 30 mobs at once.
Preparing for your first Molten Core raid (First raid ever), read up on tactics flasks fire gear etc. Then you follow your group as they jump through the window in black rock and you end up down in the lava... Why do you learn about raid keys the hard way?

I was whispering a buddy and he kept replying with the same **** that I had typed, this went on for 5 min until I realised I was whispering myself.

Doing a trash pull before mechanized boss with all the adds in steam vaults hc pulling them back towards the bridge and then successfully kiting off the edge of bridge into the water

going in to sap a target ... forgetting you're in stealth already then hitting your stealth button which pops you out of it.

Mob turns around and goes "Oh Izzit?" ... then your party chat gets filled with "n00b". It was 4am ok.


Getting stuck in a tree in Ashenvale & having to wait for your HS to cooldown *happened more than once*. The 2nd time a guildy came to see what i was on about. He then got stuck in the same tree

My favourite was taking a mate of mine into outlands for the 1st time. I told him in order to do any quests in Hellfire, you have to kill the Fel Reaver 1st. It's a soft target and its only defense is moving through lots of mobs. (I still have the screenie of him lying face down next to ol' FR )

When I died and was in the ghost realm (or whatever you call it) i fell off Outland - YUP fell right off the face of the plant. Sadly this has happened twice...

Endev8003, I did the same "Jumping off the elevator in southern Barrens". But when I jumped off with my Mage, I used blink and ended up on one of those huge rock piles.

I got conned by a lvl 1 into selling an epic dagger for 12g instead of 120g

Running through the fire at Archimonde instead of blinking...

Why not just use the auto-unstuck feature. Did that when I got stuck in one of the Ashenvale trees (I see a common theme here).

The pull 30 mobs thing is also annoying. Got killed as a lvl50 in Stockades like that. The mobs would flee and then bring one or two friends when they come back. And I wasn't quite used to tanking yet.

Why not just use the auto-unstuck feature. Did that when I got stuck in one of the Ashenvale trees (I see a common theme here).

Is that where you ask a GM to relocate you? I'm not familiar with an aut-unstuck though :/

Although it's happened to me twice now where I die in an instance in Northrend and wake up alive in the Westfall graveyard >_<

It's in the same menu as "open a ticket" once you click that it'll be at the bottom it says auto unstuck.

Aah yes my first encounter with a raid ID "wtf is that i thought"...got pugged for Kara as a tank and decided to make my own pug the next day jus to get wispered by the whole guild from the previous night

Needless to say I had some apologizing to do as half the guild reported me to a gm dunno for what!! Funny enough I haven't pugged much since then

No. There is an unstuck feature in the menu somewhere. I will look for it this evening at home, since I can't remember where atm.

It will hearth you. I think that it will move you to the nearest 'legal' position if the hearthstone is on cd though

Sat outside the BRS wondering (out loud on Vent) why I wasn't healing properly. Kept hitting heal and nothing happened to my health bar.

Guild Master says: "Are you targetting yourself?"

Turns out was overhealing someone else.

When i was low lvl (just a week or so after starting WoW) I explored the Barrens and went into this cave (which i now know as Wailing Caverns) and i saw this creatures about my lvl range with nice dragon frames and i attacked them and died very, very fast... i now know it was elites... i felt stupid

and i was in the Barrens (yet again) when i saw another elite but with a silver dragon frame (a rare boss) i tried like 5 times to kill him alone but i died everytime.

hmm.. i fell off the edge in Ocullus heroic when i tanked it... lol a lot of "noob" in /p chat

Similar experience when I first started playing... tried to do RFC solo at level 13, did not realise I needed a group for dungeons.
The funny thing is I actually managed the first 2 pulls... Think it was on the third pull that I kept dieing and thought that is was way to difficult to do instances
