What would one do if a CEO resigns from their position on the board but hasn't formally resigned from employment. How would one approach this from a remuneration perspective?

Does he have tokens for his board meeting ? Stop paying them but keep on paying his salary until he resigns as an employee.

No tokens. He basically hasn't been at work since he resigned from the board. For how long does one have to keep paying him?

Either you make a disciplinary committee and give him a warning and then if he still doesn't come back, you fire him for desertion.

Either you just fire him, it will be quicker (so less salary) but you'll have to pay, probably a lot.

There might be a way to not pay for the days he's not at work but check carefully the the CCMA on this, otherwise he might sue an get a lot.

Until he is no longer employed just like any other employee?

Don't you guys have something resembling an HR function with marginally competent staff that can answer basic questions like???

Was about to say if a company is big enough to have a CEO then surely there is a decent HR as well.
