emule settings help needed

hi guys just downloaded and installed emule 0.47c but i cant get it to downloaded... it says my connection is firewalled but i checked my firewall and emule traffic is allowed going out and coming in .... im also classisfied as a low id so i think that is the problem....
i was told to check my port forwarding but i dont know how to do that
im using a telkom adsl router pots please can somebody assist me to properly configure emule so that i can download also to set my router ...
i tried yeserday for about 7 hours and today for about 5 hours but still cant download

im running adsl 1024 with telkom as isp

did emule not use edonkey's servers which have are no longer working?

emule uses independant servers, as well as the serverless KAD network so its still running strong.
You'll need to open TCP port 4662 and UDP port 4672 on your firewall. Then you'll need to configure your router to forward those ports to your ip address. I've never seen a telkom modem interface so I have no idea where these settings are, someone else would have to assist you with that, or just google for: port forwarding "your router model number".
