Hi,

I need some help downloading from emule p2p.

Thing is i had a saol account which worked perfectly but changed recently to telkom account which allows me to do searches but not download.

I am currently using a Billion 7402g. Firewall is disabled and port 80 and 3389 open for management only. The thing is that i didnt need to open emule ports on the router using the saol account. Do Telkom block p2p download on a shaped account or iam i doing sumfing wrong?

Any guesses?

When you connect does it say you have a lowid? If so, then the port is blocked (or sometimes they just down like you). Does the downloads actually try and start? What do your logs say?

And maybe I'm wrong, but I'm sure I remember the port for emule being different. If it's right then fine, but if youre unsure check emule's site faq.

Downloads dont even start - usually it gives you the parts available for download but not the case with Telkom account

Where do i check for the logs i just download !!! Thanks

Checked the logs - no logs at all
