I'm trying to help my father activate his Telkom SIM for the 1Gig data that's comes with the uncapped package. The Telkom agent gave him a print with instructions of creating a access point which I did but the SIM is not working

That means the sim is most probably not active. Go to your local telkom and get a replacement sim and have it Rica immediately..

I'm pretty sure it's rica'ed got a message with no phone numbers and saying that it has 2 Gigs of wifi data, internet is not work on the APN was on the phone or the APN I was instructed to make on the print out my father had which only instruction was to name the APN TelkomInternet, I feel like there are some steps missing
