Enabling intel vPro with a script?

Hi Guys,

As the title says, we have a large amount of IBM Lenovo Machines that we would like to enable vpro (AMT) on, anyway to do this via a script?

You certainly won't be able to enable it with a script, because you'll have to enable the features in the BIOS that falls under vPRO - such as Hardware Virtualization.

Btw: why do you want to enable it? Like do you guys want to run Virtual Machines?

They want to use SCCM to manage the machines, in order to do that we need vPro enabled

Hello - Take a look at the Configuration Guide for Intel vPro Technology and Microsoft SCCM. We also have some tools (we call them use case reference designs) that you may find helpful.

Hi Michele,

Thanks for the reply, the problem that I have is we received over 300 Desktops all with AMT disabled in the bios, so I need to firgure out if there is a way to enable AMT without going to each PC manually. I have checked through the links and they will be extremely helpfull once the AMT is enabled but to get it enabled is the problem.
