eNATIS on renewal notices

Hi guys.
You know what is weird about the NATIS system?
Why did I get a renewal notice for renewing my one vehicle's license disc, WITH an MVL2 notice attachment, that I downloaded and printed, but not for my trailer? Bear in mind, that my trailer's license has also expired at the end of Dec 2023. The trailer is also registered to me, but when the authority sent me a mail telling me that my trailer's license disc should be renewed, there's no MVL2 attachment sent with for me to go and print out, but they did it for my one vehicle?

Why is it working for some, but not others?
I liked the old system where they sent you a notice document that you can just go and print out, renew the license at my post-office, for all the registered vehicles/trailers in your name.
Now they force you to pay online, and they print it out for you, for them to deliver it by courier, which is headache itself. I had experienced this first-hand, probably going to go through the same with my other vehicle. What the flip man, I just want my MVL2 form, dammit.

Flip, the person which had this transformative idea about "only" pay online and courier delivery should go dig themselves a deep pit and stay there for eternity.
Speaking of which, is there a email/hotline I can try to talk to someone that can put me and all my vehicles on the list of sending the notice form attachment when it comes to a renewal?
I hate paying online, and frankly, do not trust their payment systems.

The online payment works fine and is safe. They should be able to get your trailer on the same schedule… if I remember correctly there is a portion where you can add another vehicle to your profile

You don’t have to use it though, can still go to post office/licensing dept
 
Either way, I simply do not have the time to sit in the queues and wait at the licensing office just for a license disc. What's worse, you take out the whole day just for this, and the system is offline for the rest of the day.

So what do you want? You don't want to pay online and you don't want to going to the KFC office.

I paid on Sunday and I got my license on Tuesday.

In your profile say "add new vehicle" and bobs your uncle.

What I want, is an option for me to download the MVL2 notice form, or have it emailed to me. (I got 2 MVL02 forms emailed to me, previously) but no, Mr FearNothing had to reform the NATIS system, which was working OK, removed the download option.

Just to courier a piece of paper, IMO, is a mess. It does not logistically make sense. What do they ask for shipping that one piece of paper? IIRC, it was R99.

They must give you the option to either pay and courier, or download the form. That's what I want.

It's because everything is automated now. You literally just pay and don't have to fill in any forms. You can still download the forms from the gov website.


Wish change of address could be done online.

They used to e-mail the notification (as one would have received it in the post in the old days) as an attachment, even if there was no e-mail you could go onto eNatis website and download it. Then you could print it and take it to a post office, no completing of forms and it served as it's own proof of address, and wait in line (0 to 15 minutes locally)., you pay and walk out with your disk.

Now you have to make sure that you are where they intend to deliver it, maybe they give it to some other person like the receptionist (as the courier did in my case) so another cog in the chain of possible issues) and it costs more than above.

I think now you just give them your ID. Although Post Office you never know.
 
Has anyone done this recently? I tried to renew but the site hangs when it is at the payment stage, sometimes times out, when it does go through I get an error about 3d secure, I doubt it has anything it has anything to do with my card as the 3d secure thing is supposed to be be active.
