End of Month issues ??

Hi guys,

My DSL line was a bit wonky today and simply disconnected about 2 hours ago. Anyways, I'm back online again but everything is soooo sloooow. I did a Telkom Speed test and got a line speed of 4.3kB/s on a 192ADSL line. Is this what people are complaining about on month end? or is this a problem on my line now?

p.s I'm on a SAIX account.

LOL - this is the weirdest thing ever. My line speed is back up to 20.9kB/s now. Gotta love the "best effort" service from Telkom

Yeah well I can still play all of my games online with a 20kB/s connection and my ping is still between 30ms to 50ms so I'm not complaining at all. A lot of people are getting 20kB/s on their 192ADSL connections and according to Telkom support, that's what your supposed to be getting in the first place. I'm thinking of upgrading to 384kbps but for now 192 @ 20kB/s seems to be doing the trick
