Eneloop AA rechargeable batteries.

I've just ordered from www.batteryupgrade.co.za. Seems to be a Dutch company. Free worldwide shipping by air. Let's see if the order arrives.
BTW, while on their site I bought a new battery for an old Nokia 6310i, and a spare for the Lumia 950 XL Dual SIM. Their price for the 6310i battery was by far the best I've seen, a snip at $25.

Wow - that's a kludge of a site.

Eneloop pro's aren't worth the price imo - $25.78 for four vs R400 for 16 Uniross Hybrio at Makro.

As far as I know Sanyo SA no longer imports them, but you can get direct importers who sell them.

But as @bwana says above the Uniross Heybrio's work just as well.

+1 UniRoss Hybrio's work very well. Have multiple pairs.

Not the same type of battery but their high capacity batteries are also working very well in my camera. Think its the 2700mah (Blue) variant.

I’m under the impression it’s very much the same.

As in you can use them off the shelf without charging them first as they don’t discharge?

The green label Hybrio's are the slow discharge ones - they're 2100mAh.
The blue label Performance series are normal rechargeable ones - those are 2700mAh

This. I have a pair of the Green Hybrio ones in my electric shaver that I use now and then and havent charged in months.

I've got about 40 Hybrios and maybe a dozen 2700s. The green ones are for day to day use, I keep them charged and ready to go. The higher mah ones are for those long days that never end.

Makes sense because I’ve only ever had the green ones.

I’m guessing the blue ones are “Hybrio” then because the name is meant to imply hybrid alkaline/rechargeable.

Thanks. Didn't know about Hybrio rechargeables. Ah well, ignorance is expensive.

I'm so sick of an assortment of GPs and Energizers that just don't survive well. When the Panasonic Eneloops arrive I'm chucking out all the other stuff.
