According to the Rapport Jake is out and I for one hope it is true. The biggest problem I have with him is the fact that for obscure reasons he simply refuses to select certain players. And secondly he sticks with a captain that is third rate in his position.

Finally someone to get to the breakdown. We just hopelessly to inefficient at the breakdown without Schalk Burger the opposition gets there ball way to quickly no slowing down from any of our players.

On the subject of James vs Pretorius
James was having the game of his life. However, with SA 8 points in the lead, JW wanted to resort to a kicking game, defending the lead. That is why he sent Pretorius off.
IMO, it was a tactically stupid, idiotic decision. South African's have this craxy notion that a kicking game is a low risk one. In other words, handing the ball to the opposition is low risk, and trying to keep possession is high risk. Mind you, with our handling skills this is understandable.
While I don't want JW to be sacked, for the simple reason that he is the best we have got, I feel that he owes SA an apology, and needs to take some immediate steps. The arrogance of the man is incredible: For him to believe that he is right, when the whole country believes that Watson and Floors should be selected (I know that Floors has just been called up, but this is really as a last choice) illustrates this. The same applies to his selection of Ackermann and Muller, leaving out the likes of van Schouenberg, Pieterse etc...
White is also consistently guilty of gross favouratism. A player like Jaco VDW, managed to play about 5 games of shocking, appalling rugby (he is IMO the worst Springbok ever) without getting dropped. Jacques Cronje, has consistently shown himself to be incapable at international level, yet JW still selects him.
I have little sympathy for JW atm. He deserves every bit of criticism he is getting for his shocking selection policy, gross favouratism and blatant arrogance. The only thing that will make me change my mind, is if he personally accepts responsibility for the Springboks performance in the last two games (one cannot blame the players, as they had either not played for months or were playing out of position), and makes amends by resorting to merit selection and rewarding players who were consistently the best in the Curry Cup.

Butch james got injured and thats why Pretorius came on, not to defend the lead by poor tactical kicking.
What i dont understand and which frustrates me beyond belief is that with 4 mins to go and us needing 3 points for a victory, Andre Pretorius kicks away possesion???? I almost broke my tv. You cant score without the ball, hello???
There are alot of positives coming out of this end of year tour, Frans steyn being one of them, but also alot of negatives.
I dont think Jake should be fired, because the only other person who is capable of being the springbok coach is Rassie and he needs another two or three years experience. Besides that i think Jake has a plan and the backing of the union and we will see it unfold at the world cup, we dont want to show our cards to early i.e new zealand.
There are alot of things that we dont know about in the springbok camp and coaches mind and assuming things just makes the situation worse.
Bear in mind we are the only team to have beaten new zealand this year
Jake knows what he is doing, and even it doesnt look like it there is a reason behind everything thats done, its all aimed at next year, so keep your panties on watch how things come together, you might just have to eat your words.

When Schalk got injured he needed to bring in someone immediately that could attack the breakdown to slow down opposition ball and secure our own. He keeps harping on about size (maybe he has some lingering feelings from events when he was growing up) how he needs a lineout option from his loose forwards.

i think they should put pienaar in as the halfback, january is 1/2sec to slow - we need quick ball. seeing as we only get limited position. also put jaco p in outside center
