Is any channel actually showing this game?

If so, please let me know as I'd like to watch it..

Ta muchly

Supersport of cause ! Funny how Supersport will show a England vs Whoever (good or bad team) , but if there is a Brazil vs Argentina or Italy vs France game as the same time they wont show it.Its the same with the Champions League. It really does piss me off.

Not me :D, I would rather watch England vs Randburg U13's than Italy vs anyone.

The English game is the most enjoyable to watch.

(There are also millions of English people in SA)

Gavin.....

With all due respect i dont think u have 0.000000001% of the football knowledge i have.As a fan of Global football (ie Brazilian, Argentian,German,Italian.Spanish,French,English ) and throw in a bit of USA,Sweden,Portugal,Denmark,Norway,Japan etc etc).I guess everybody has i right to watch whatever football they want. The problem is South Africa is that English football is drummed into our head 24/7.

Hows that for respect :)..

Whatever ubercal, I find the English game the most enjoyable to watch like I said. Being English might have something to do with it.

If you have so much Football knowledge then I am sure you know most of those other leagues are shown on ESPN and Supersport. (Not sure about Sweden,Portugal,Denmark,Norway,Japan) But the rest have some showing on ESPN.

So as a Global Football fan with so much knowledge, who is the best player and team in the world?

Please dont get think iam being rude , iam just telling the truth.Iam English as way

The best player in the world.Well officially its 1. Ronaldinho 2. Fat Frank aka Lampard 3.Samuel E'to (FIFA 2006 Player of the year award.

Umm, in reply to the Supersport answer.. I can't find it listed anywhere at all, on any format (online guide, Decoder guide page, etc..)

Poo..

To be honest, I'm English and will watch any English game, I agree that SS put on A LOT of English footy, but I suppose it's because they know thats most likely going to get them the biggest market share...

Because it is more entertaining than most, if not all other leagues. It does not have a following around the world for nothing. As far as entertainment goes - Spain? italy? Don't make me laugh...

yeah like how well u felt watching the Italian league for the last few years and always admired Juve are such a good team.

Ubercal I couldn't agree with you more, the other night I wanted to watch Barcelona's first match of the La Liga, lo and behold they were showing a English League One game rather!

I would agree that the excitment level of the Premiership is very good nowdays. However the Premiership 10 years ago was certainly not good. However people were still comparing the English Premiership to the Italian/Spanish leagues even 10 years back. The bottom line is that in SA the Premiership has , is and always will be the most popular Football league.I guess because of the close ties we have with Britain. In Argentina the are big followers of Italian football while brazillians watch Spanish and Portugese. The French speaking African countries support French Lige1 football.

Hey hj2k, I'm good thanks. I see ManU are having a good start to the season. :)

Hehe. Glad u noticed. I been letting all my liverpool and chelsea mates know all about it as well. It may only be three games so far, but things are looking good :)

Have you seen Liverpool's next three games:eek: . Everton, PSV and Chelsea are all away games:mad: . Carra, Riise, Sissoko and warnock coming back from injury plus those damn internationals disrupting preparation. :(

back on topic..

I see France, Russia and Croatia all make appearances tonight on SS, but no mention of England? Why not? Is it only crappy NIGERIAN league football on SS3?
