<br />obviously from what youve stated you have a history

You sure it's not anger management that's the problem ?
(I truly doubt that though)

Oh, I've been pretty riled up, and down, over the last few weeks about MyWireless. Not to the point of anger though. More like cold calculated animosity.
I've doing their support on their behalf, for myself.
I've been upgrading my firmware on their behalf by myself.
I've been tweaking their drivers, on my behalf.
I've been logging calls at /dev/nulldesk without resolve.
I've been blatantly lied to at /dev/helldesk.
I've been blatantly ignored at /dev/helldesk.
I've had better customer feedback and status communications at /dev/telkom, and that's a fright.
I've had better data transfer rates with a 1.44Mb stiffy in my car.
I've seen paying subscribers get cut off due to mistakes on Sentech's behalf, without apology or rebate.
I've seen better tools, such as Nic's signal calculator developed by this community.
I've seen what is essentially a high-latency cellular system with loads of technical problems advertised on television as "broadband".
I'm seeing overcharging, and underdelivery.
The only good thing Sentech does have going for them is /dev/god/proasm, and that's about it.
When Sentech arrived, most of breathed a sigh of relief, and screamed: "Yay, an alternative".
Yes, well. You know how the saying goes: The devil you know...
Naturally, I'm doing some of this to pacify my need to vent. But I also want to make sure that whoever else thinks of getting this service, knows exactly what the limitations of the technology is, what it's characteristics are, and what Sentech's characteristics are. That way, they can make an informed decision, rather than rely on a silly little television advertisement and a marketing website that is patently incorrect.
I can go rpm's route, and attempt to slowly tackle the system from within, by going to ICASA, or the advertising standards boards, and a million other routes. That'd be great for Sentech, since as has been shown with Telkom, these routes amount to no benefit, or corrective action.
The alternative is to hurt their marketing, by using guerrilla tactics that they cannot continue to stonewall. If the word is well enough spread, chances are that they may be forced to take action, or suffer the financial consequences. It really is the only other alternative I can see.
We've tried it. We've logged our tickets. We've talked to our support staff. We've mailed them higher up. And the result is nothing. Dead stonewalled silence, as is usually the case.
