Entertainment Titles Not Loading (HD PVR)

Hello.

Okay so we have the HD PVR and the normal PVR. Last weekend, I wanted to watch MasterChef and I saw that it didn't "record" in the Entertainment (Catch-Up?) section of the HD one (there were actually no recordings there) but it recorded in the normal one.

During the week last week I saw an orange pie-sort of figure pop on the screen while I was watching TV and I had no idea what it was and didn't explore it further, just thought maybe it was complaining about space. I remembered that when I saw that there were no catch-up recordings and I deleted some things that I won't watch/already have seen and asked the rest of the household to do the same.

Yesterday we noticed that it only had five titles in the Entertainment section on the HD PVR. I checked now and again, it only has five titles. Why is it doing this? Everything was fine and then bam it just... Went weird.

Any suggestions as to how this can be rectified? :)
 
Recording space wont affect CatchUp spare, so that's unrelated. There has been some reports of CatchUp not loading on the new software. I suggest you unplug the HDPVR for 30 seconds & plug it in again, you won't get the older titles but should get newer ones as they are ready
 
Had similar problem on the weekend (with BoxOffice as well) after getting new dish and LNB installed (had single cable with 2P for a while). Called multichoice and they did some "stuff" and a few days later have most of the content. This stuff included unplugging as well as restoring factory settings. I think they sent some commands or something as well.
 
Every now & then our PVR goes weird - some channels won't work, the info bar won't load as it should - we'll reset and it will take a few days (max 2) for all the catch up & box-office stuff to reload. So wait it out, if it's not right in a day or two then give them a call.
 
I rarely rely on Catch-Up for anything at all these days. It is more temperamental than a caged cheetah. At least twice a week my catch-up titles, EPG and Box Office just don't download. I rarely pay any attention to it now - DSTV is there primarily for sport now...
 
The new software release from Multichoice has introduced a number of bugs - this being one of them. No idea yet of when we'll see a fix but their is an official apology on their forums http://forum.dstv.com/showthread.php?t=15654

Thank you for all the replies! Glad to hear that it is a known issue and not just on my side haha!

I checked yesterday and I saw that more titles had loaded so I'm relieved that I don't need to phone through lol :)

That happens A LOT. Sometimes on the second channel on the normal PVR, it won't load any channels and will only play the one that was on there just before trying to change the channel. Very annoying.
 
I am getting this error today "no entertainment titles found" tought they said the software update should fix this
 
Yeah also seen this since the software DOWNGRADE.

Bloody useless Multichoice as usual
 
@PapercutPrincess, which version of the HD PVR are you using? This sounds like an installation problem.
