Hi guys,

I am having a problem with one of my domains, and need to quickly figure out what to do.

I was using EntryDNS as the DNS provider, but they seem to have flopped quite badly (at least 6 hours now). Please advise whether there are any comparable services available that I could use in the meant time (either permanently or until EntryDNS get their act together).

Regards,
Mike

thanks Inflicted :) will have a look and sort it out if things aren't up and running by the evening...

ok, so eventually after the pain that was yesterday, entrydns announced that they were being DDoS'ed and their service was down. Now that the DDoS is over, they seem to be back up and running, but it seems like it may be time for a switch...

You can use FreeDNS's ns2.afraid.org server as a secondary... Keep EntryDNS as the primary.

I prefer using Rackspace's DNS (free with whatever service you get with them, currently my email and cloud servers are there)

If all else fail, just create your own DNS, easy enough spinning up 2 basic cloud servers and running a MySQL based DNS service on them
