Epic Fail on Web Africa...

So, I had place an order for the Cell C fixed LTE through Web Africa on Saturday 7 April 2018, it was impressive that they approve and confirmed the order by Sunday, and called me on the Monday 9 April 2018 that my delivery is scheduled on Wednesday 11 April 2018. I was quite happy that I finally don't need to work on office this weekend because now I am getting my internet, but guess what, I am at office now...

So I really need to clap for Ram Courier, received message from them on Thursday morning that they failed to delivery the router and SIM card because they couldn't reached me, which I had received no call from them on Wednesday.

Funny thing is I caught the RAM Courier guy in front of my office during the lunch time on Thursday, the guy saying that he didn't delivery because of confusion of the address.:confused::confused: Yes, you are reading right, the guy literary said that front of my office building, like I am a retard. What even worse is, he didn't bring my parcel with him on Thursday.

So, story keep going on, received another message this morning saying that my delivery will be done before 5 today. So I have been calling the customer service since 12 o'clock and all they were saying was that delivery will be done before 5, they have no idea where the delivery guy is but I will definitely be getting the parcel.

Now I am sitting at office and typing this...Because I don't have my flipping router. So really well done, I am considering to cancel my order and rather just get in from the Cell C store.

For those are receiving parcel from RAM courier...Good luck for that.
 
So if I've read this correctly, Web Africa did nothing wrong at all and the problem is purely with Ram? :erm:

Why is that grounds to cancel your Web Africa arrangement?
 
Well, if I was never getting it, should I still keep the order? Had contact Web Africa, all they did just give me a customer service number for RAM, they are out of this.
 
Certainly Web Africa should have choose their delivery service provider carefully. After I had contacted Web Africa, they can only provide me the RAM customer service number and have no control on the delivery?
 
Onus is on Web Africa to speedup their courier service provider (if it doesn't get delivered in time = unhappy client)

Webafrica pay the courier a sameday delivery service fee or next business day or economy 3day story.. So maybe they were at fault by selecting (or being cheap) the economy option.

Reasonable timeframe would be a day extra tops. If I tell you i'll be there by Wednesday but rockup on Friday.... it's not cool. Thursday would have been oraait still, you know.. things can happen.

best is to either tell webafrica by 5pm else forget the deal.. (if it happens it happens..) if not. Finished. You didn't order the parcel with the courier... webafrica must sort out their shizz.
