Epic gaming laptops from CES 2018

Thank god we are starting to loose that Lamborghini looking gaming laptops for respectable looking devices...
 
Any reason that they seem to be avoiding the 8th gen Intel processors?
 
I like the ASUS ROG Strix SKT T1 Hero Edition. Not much is known about it.
