EPL 20/21 Prediction

It’s amazing most pundits think that City will win the Epl this season. They not replaced Kompany, lost D Silva and Jesus. Augeuro is also injury prone and getting older.

They have only bought Torres and Ake from Bournemouth who were relegated. To me they have weakened, but I bet they will buy more defenders before the window close.

We have not lost any impact first team players, so the team is basically the same, but added cover for left back. I still think JK will add at least 1 or 2 players to the squad depending how we perform the first few games. If Thiago comes we might just add another central defender perhaps.

Post COVID and friendlies we played just not bother me. I think Klopp will want to create a gap early and put pressure on City. I still think we will be Champions by 6-10 points.

In my opinion we stole the last PL from City. We had a number of close wins that only require a bad bounce to change. Basically we had champions luck in a lot of the games.

Our 2020 form was nowhere close to our 2019 form. We will also struggle to nick points from some of the strengthened teams. And Pep will be on a mission this time. I reckon he won't quit on a low.

What's with all the Liverpool fans being so negative all the time?
You guys are like the nerdy chic from highschool who starts to cries whenever she gets less than 90%.

Edit: I have Alison on TAA in my fantasy squad as well as Bamford on my bench and I feel like I should play Bamford because it's a derby match (kinda) and derby form might play a role

They are a weakened team and every time they get attacked, they are exposed. People give them tomuch credit and without KdB they look very average.

Yes we also have defensive issues with Gomez, so only time will tell. My only worry is we struggle to break teams down that sit deep and defend and catch us on the break and more of a reason to get Thiago. I do think after the Gooners and Chelsea games we will have a better picture on where we are atm.

Oh, like City the year before with mm goals for them and mm goals against us?

30 years, dude. With many near misses. I generally prefer to be negative, as then I can get pleasantly surprised.

Better than being all optimistic and forever disappointed
 
I doubt JK will allow to be classed as a one season wonder. I think people will respect us more if we win the EPL this year

Yes, exactly like that. 2019 as a footballing year (not season) for Liverpool was spectacular in terms of stats.

Based on results In 2020 already, we won't be able to match those stats
