Hi,

Ouf Epson L605 printer is showing a waste tank counter reset
Error 11

How does one resolve this?


Where is the waste tank located, find videos on youtube for othe Epson printers, but not this one

Videos, gor the ECO line printers show what you mention. The L605 does not have that panel. Why I asked. Don't want to start pulling it apart, and then have to buy a new one anyhow - then I may as well just toss the L605 and save myself a lot if frustration

Sometimes you can just empty it other times they design it so you are forced to replace it with a new one.

How to Locate and Access It​

1. Turn to the Back: Rotate your printer so the rear ports (power and USB) are facing you.
2. Find the Cover: On the bottom right corner of the back panel, you will see a small plastic cover held in place by a single screw.
3. Remove the Screw: Use a Phillips-head screwdriver to loosen the screw.
4. Slide and Pull: Slide the cover off to reveal the gray or black plastic Maintenance Box.

Pretty sure you might have the older version that are not made to be replaced by the user. You need to open the printer to replace it. After that you need a tool to reset the printer to tell the counter its back to 0

It means you have to replace the waste ink absorber. Had to take my Canon in to Partserve just last month to have this done. It's a R50 part but not a quick/easy thing to replace, needs to be done by a specialist...

It is on the old side - will give it another look when I have time. Working 16 hours day fies mot leave one feeling like fiddling whrn one gets home. Will wait for off day
