My parents have an EPSON L800 that is giving issues - it's colours aren't as bright and sharp as they used to be, and the nozzle clean test doesn't print the cyan and magenta lines properly, though the ink has been recently replaced. My father has tried the usual tricks - cleaning the print nozzles, cleaning the ink pads etc., but to no avail.
The usual repair shop is Partserve, who wants to replace the printhead, at what seems like a fairly steep price. Are there any other reputable service shops who we can get quotes from?
