A JSE listed company that specialises in building materials is expanding their team and is looking for an ERP Applications Support Analyst to join their team of professionals. This role is best suited to individuals with at least 3 years ERP Application Support, Kerridge ERP, Maestro ERP, ITIL methodology and financial background. In this role you will pro-actively support ERP system functionality within Service Desk Environment, assist user base with ERP knowledge, analyse problems and research solutions. Test and implement a solution for queries logged. Manage time and prioritise Service Desk queries. Recommend, test and implement a solution. Assure that any emergency and critical change follows the approved process, in conjunction with IT Management. Analyse and disseminate relevant information regarding changes, reporting to Application Services and Support Manager accordingly for implementation

Formal financial qualification
Relevant IT qualification / diploma & certification (MCSE, MCSD, A+) would be an advantage
3-5 years ERP Development/ Enterprise Application Support Experience
Knowledge of the ITIL methodology, change management processes and risk management processes.
Knowledge of systems, platforms and applications in operation and production (Kerridge ERP, Maestro ERP, other ERP systems as utilised by the organisation)
Understands principles of configuration management
Understands principles of change management and change control in an IT systems environment
Ability to assess risk, cost and benefit
