Err 102-29

A DStv decoder error on an Explora decoder?

If so something has gone wrong with your subscription.

Error code E102-29 means the function cannot be performed without a valid subscription and the PVR product is missing from the smartcard.

The only recourse is to contact MC call center and get them to verify your subscription details and maybe re-activate/reset your subscription details.

No longer possible to fix subscription errors via the on line services.
 
You must have recorded some programmes for playing back later but your subscription doesn't have the pvr playback feature added. So do one of the following:-
1. Either add the playback feature to your subscription and the error will disappear.
2. Go to Settings>>satellite settings>>pvr clean-up>>delete all. You then restart your decoder. It may take longer than usual to boot up and may go blank for some time booting up. Give it time about 10 min. When it completes the boot up process, the error will be gone.

Don't do the recording of programmes again until you do point 1) otherwise you will doing 2) again ;)

Found pvr clean up under "system settings". That aside, this worked. Thanks!
