im trying to install a vodacom k3565-z on someones pc (has vista sp2), but it keeps on giving me: error 2738 Could not access vbscript runtime for custom action.
ive searched this site and the interwebs and it seems this is/was a common problem. none of the fixes have worked.i tried something with the reg.didnt work, i tried re-registering vbscript.dll.didnt work. i tried phoning vodacom (last resort) got pathetic service. the first operator kept on telling me i should take my pc to a computer shop, and the second wanted we to type 'ipconfig/flush dns' into cmd, then when i told her for the umteenth time that it doesnt even want to install she put me on hold untill it cut out, wtf!?
does anybody have any recommendations that can fix this? last resort will be to get 8ta/cell c as vodacom clearly doesnt want my friends cash.
