This has happened twice in the past 2 days that windows refuses to dial giving an error 678. The software for the modem indicates 0% signal at that point.
All that needs to be done is to reboot the modem and it connects again perfectly.
The modem has the 4.2.1.8 firmware (not sure if there is anything newer or where anything newer might be found).

Any ideas on what might be screwing me over or what I can smack it with?
